The school doesn't claim them and the SEC titles were stripped by the NCAA. They were voted champs by major publications in those years which were good enough for teams like Alabama to claim during a 4 loss season, so I count them. '84 does have the most legitimate claim as BYU played a literal WAC schedule that season.

 

So-hope those worried about the streak are calmer now
