Sure. All I'm saying is for people yo keep saying Kamala is the most experienced/qualified candidate in history is just miles from accurate. Pretty much any Governor and previous VP is at least equal. GHWB Had more. Al Gore had more. Bill had more Hillary may have even had more. Biden had more. Reagan ran California. GWB ran Texas. Pence had more. Trump has more. I mean she is probably not top 10 in my lifetime and yet people are running around saying she is the most qualified/experienced candidate ever? Ever???
Most qualified ever? Or decently enough qualified to run for POTUS? Interesting. I'm not trying to argue, I haven't been following. To be honest, what does it matter? The voters of our nation just re-elected the only sitting President in US history to attempt to not peacefully transfer power after an election. Given that, there are two major conclusions to draw: one side now knows it can literally get away with anything, no matter how un-American or criminal. The other side knows their opposition will do precisely that, with zero respect for the law. Who'll be able to blame them for returning the favor just as soon as they can? Sorry- off topic. Feel free to ignore.
This is what I am referring to... Every VP that ran was just as qualified and most governors have more executive experience.
Fair enough. And tyvm for the info. I would disagree with their assessment of "most" versus maybe "reasonably" or "acceptably." This still doesn't earn a spot on my list of concerns though.
OMG, it’s was thrown around all over the place for weeks leading up to the election, and in this thread. Most “qualified ever”, it was a laughed at because it was mostly from the same crew that were saying how wonderful Biden was cognitively until the debate proved beyond a doubt he was lost.
As a woman she had to be over and above any other VP. She had to be held to a higher standard than trumph who was a disaster as a president. If she had his background, she wouldn't have sniffed being a VP, AG or DA. So yeah, she was highly qualified. You mentioned HW as being a more qualified VP to run for the presidency, and I agree.
So was Gore. So was Pence. And issues assise, Trump was the "more qualified" candidate in this race. She wasnt very qualified. Its probably why she couldnt get a sniff in the primary.
I agree with you which is why I moved on and accepted and supported Biden as our President. Zuckerbucks and the powerful masterminds kicked Trumps ass in 2020. It was a brilliant strategy. Keep a very unpopular racist (lots of history of this) and creep like Biden in the basement and with millions of fake mail in ballots in only 5 counties out of over 3k counties they got rid of Orange Man. It really was amazing. Dems deserved to win 2020 election.
The last one applies now since Trump had already served a term, it didn't apply when Trump ran for election in 2016. He was the least qualified candidate of a major political party to run for the presidency and he was far and away the least qualified candidate to actually be elected to the office. He had no experience of any kind in government and his record in the private sector was one of multiple failures.
