I really think he will turn out to be a good choice. We have gotten so much better, if we can improve just a little we can compete for the SEC. We have very good RBs a great QB, WRs are good and OL is much better. Need a couple of DTs and we are set. He has to win 8 or more next year or he's gone
So because I attended UF when things were fun I'm somehow weak-kneed and entitled. Well damn, if only my parents had me a couple decades earlier.
That's the truth, Kiffin hasn't won shit and he doesn't even really have a signature win like that ol boy at Vanderbilt
Recruiting will stink until he wins. He has to come out of the gate in 2025 winning a lot. That’ll cool the seat and help recruiting.
People keep saying this like it matters. If we're hiring a new coach the comparison set is the other available coaches, not BN.
But UF isn't going to be able to hire any coach with championship level coaching as they are likely retired are already entrenched at their school. Is UF going to dip down to G5 Coach again? Not likely. Ideally you look for a guy with winning experience in one of the toughest conferences in the country. I'm not advocating for Kiffin because I think it would end ugly, but he would make UF respectable in the SEC again.
