Because I'm tired of being invaded. I'm tired of these immigrants changing my country. Trying to force me to speak their language, adopt their customs, watch their sports and music. I'm tired of them coming in acting like they own the place.
To Trumpers, the U.S. Constitution is a pesky nuisance, always getting in the way of what they want to do.
Sorry, i don’t care if the parents are here illegally, if you are born here, you are an American. Simple. I hope he does not do this, the first thing he should do is pardon Hunter Biden of all charges.
Why? If Biden is dumb enough to NOT pardon Hunter, he should go to jail. The drug charge and all the house investigations into him and his laptop were abuse of congressional powers garbage, but nevertheless the IRS tax evasion charges are legit and would deserve jail. Others have been jailed for several years for that level of money moving.
Apart from the obvious moral and legal points made above, is no one else even a little bit perturbed that the dude has been running for president for two years and only sprung on us this extremely consequential proposal the day after he was elected? What kind of crap is that?
No, I've heard him talk about it long before today. Probably something you could Youtube search real quick to verify.
I just ignore him. He's not worth our time. They haven't been hiding these things. People simply don't care. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/tr...-children-immigrants-us-illegally-2023-05-30/
There was no such distinction when Wong Kim Ark was born or when the Fourteenth Amendment was ratified. The text itself makes no such distinction either. There is no intelligent argument that it excludes the children of undocumented immigrants. Of course, I'm not sure if that'll matter with the judiciary we have now. I hope so.
Haven’t we all been there, Channing? Since there was a time that I wasn’t permitted to see my own kids, I once spent months dressing up as their nanny to secretly spend time with them. Or maybe that was just the plot of Mrs. Doubtfire. Anyway, the point is that we’ve all done something similar. As long as by “all” we mean Orlando and a fictional Robin Williams character.
