Just because you’re throwing around statistics does not mean you’re being objective. Analytics and statistics can vary widely depending upon boundary conditions, initial assumptions, sample size, etc. As an engineer you should clearly understand this. Wanne’s point regarding limitations in applying the transitive property is spot on.

Conclusions can be flat wrong, even though the individual data points taken out of context can be legit. As an engineer you understand this right?

 

I see we are down to arguing about statistics. Nice.

Well that's it. He's done.

 

All it said is he would continue as head football coach...didn't say for how long so hopefully it's just for the remainder of the 2024 season.

 

On a more serious note, one part of the statement stands out to me.

"We will work alongside him to support any changes needed to elevate Gator football."

I'm not sure to what that refers but pretty clearly they are going to force him to make some changes.

 

Well I guess all ya'll slow Gator fans are happy now... we're really rewarding Billy for getting them to play hard and not win.... Muschamp got us to play hard and we still fired him... we're "moral victory U" now....

 

Baby steps... First you gotta start playing hard... THEN, you start winning! It's a process!

He's made changes every season so I don't read it that way, if they feel like they need to force him to do things they should just fire him.

Now, to keep the thread going, all that was announced was that Stricklin is behind Napier. It plainly does not say what the new AD is going to do.

And BTW, the only thing that matters is how people vote with their wallets. When they make a real change there, THEN there will be change.
