It's a complete sweep of all four (electoral, popular vote, senate and house) factors.

So, just like CNN has been spoutting, the Donald got a "mandate".

    Just the way it is.

Be rid of the turds of course. Wonder if Clinton and Obama are scratching their azz saying”thought getting rid of Joe for Kamala was a good idea “ “think we messed up Barry. Pass me a Marlboro “

Care to explain your support for that? More jobs, better stock market? Since both those at already at near historic positive levels, is the plan to cut taxes to increase the Nation's deficit? Try not to keep us in suspense on your non-tedious answer.

Govt will tax and spend anyways.
    Biz will be strong.
Capital will come off the sidelines.
Higher taxes gets passed down to all…won’t happen and consumer confidence grows too.
    All good stuff.
    You’re welcome.

Yep, maga has the next 2 years pretty much carte blanche just like trumps first term. Then the mid terms hit.

Rs have far more Senate seats up for election in 2026 than the Ds. 20-13 I recall. And of course the House is always up for vote.

It is weird. I wonder if some might be ghosts of Too Hot’s past?

Not as weird as certain posters who were analyzing multiple polls for us just a few days ago and have suddenly vanished.

People not wanting to own up to being wrong actually seems like one of the most base human tendencies. Perhaps not admirable, but almost the opposite of weird.

Before actually claiming that Trump's victory was a mandate keep in mind that both his popular vote and electoral college margins were lower than those of Bill Clinton's victories in 1992 and 1996, Obama's victories in 2008 and 2012 and even Biden's victory four years ago. Also not only was Obama's victory considerably larger in 2008 than Trump's was this year, the Democrats ended up with much larger margins in both the House and the Senate than did the Republicans this year and that's even if they manage to win Senate seats in Arizona and Nevada where the Republican candidates are currently trailing.
