All that if it turns out true has nothing to do with the post I responded to. It was about needing them to pick crops.
That’s probably true. More likely than not, I started to say something rather banal and the rant vomited out thereafter. That’s entirely on me.
Well, you can go down the Twitter rabbit hole suggesting that those people didn’t exist in 2020 in the first place, but I think the actual explanation is that there are still a whole bunch of votes scattered around the country to be counted and numbers will be pretty close. And looking at percent turnout, “Dems didn’t come vote” doesn’t really pan out as the explanation. The overall turnout percentages I have seen are just a hair off of 2020 and higher than any election since 1904 other than 2020.
That's not really a very witty response. Hey though- you just voted for a convicted felon! One that a jury found had cornered a woman and penetrated her sexual parts against her will. Who was accused of sexual assault or rape by appx 25 other women. You voted for a guy who incited a riot and attack on our Capitol that you certainly saw with your own eyes. A traitor. You must be SO proud! But yeah, you can pretend none of that is true because ' Herr de derr, media Kool-Aid aid!" Just a quick FYI : winning an election doesn't make the lies and moral bankruptcy go away.
Let's not forget that Doh! Biden, the cult leader populist sent from on high, with such an enormous rock & roll star following... who regularly inspired almost 25 vehicles to go out of their way to listen to his sage counsel and incredibly super charged speeches... Didn't just outdo Trump--he got 16 million more votes than Barrack Obama at his height (Soldier's Field??? Pffft... "hold my beer" said Doh!)! *FACT* bro! LOL!
Zero percent chance he follows through on that promise. Who would suffer the most from the loss of all that cheap labor is the wealthy. You think Trump is gonna stab them in the back? That doesn't even consider the shear amount of money it would cost plus the collapse of our economy that would follow. Even his biggest ass-kissing cabinet members will talk him out of that one.
Lots of ifs there. There won’t be mass deportations. As far as Trump induced inflation listened to many experts on CNBC today and they were really down playing that possibility, part the reasoning is the idea the IRA will get trimmed back and there won’t be quite so much Gov spending. Time will tell.
Now that the campaign is over, I'm really interested to find out if part of the deal for Biden to step down and Harris to go to the top of the ticket was that Harris could not say anything bad about Biden and his Admin that could hurt his legacy. Harris had multiple opportunities to separate herself from him but chose not to even though the polls showed Biden being unpopular and the country was on the wrong track.
Kamala couldn't torpedo Biden--she was riding his track record, on his primary votes. Last one in the room, Bidenomics cheer captain, never said boo about his dementia--in fact actively denied it... Shooting his record was Shooting herself in the foot. That's why "turn the page" was such a loser.
I get that but she needed to create some space between her and Biden on some policies. She could have but did not. I want to know why she did not.
Because she was a horrible candidate. This is why they have these things called primaries and caucuses. To weed out the pretenders. That's probably the most apt description of Kamala Harris: a pretender.
