So deporting people who are in our country illegally is akin to Nazi's killing Jews? That is a hell of a take there bud.
The SCOTUS would have one less conservative if Ruth Bader had not been so selfish and left when she should have.
As I said, there are 2 possible outcomes. Depends on what it looks like. Germany also intended to “deport” the Jews, until the govt found out the deporting part was actually hard. I’d like to think it would stop far short of an atrocity, but the whole notion of rounding up that number of people in the first place can only evoke that comparison.
Given the Court's rulings over recent history on issues such as affirmative action, abortion, the 2nd Amendment, Chevron deference, etc., what's next? Which lines of cases/precedent should we expect to see addressed or reversed?
I wouldn't bet against Trump and his Federalist Society buddy Leonard Leo finding potential justices at least as bad or even worse than Alito and Thomas the only difference being that they would be under the age of 50 with the potential to serve on the court for the next 35 years or so.
Ho is an unserious person. Yet, he's still better than Alito. Which says more about how bad Alito is than Ho being tolerable.
Very little chance that Fake Justice Thomas won't retire, for the low low price of 3 high-price vacations per year and a new top-shelf RV, and we see the appointment of the esteemed and deserving Justice Aileen "Trumpy" Cannon.
Mods, can someone help and give me some tech assistance? I don’t want to block jo, but if there was a way to make all of their posts show up to me as this gif, I would still get the whole gist of what they’re trying to communicate but in a much more entertaining way:
