Tulane coach, Jon Sumrall, is headed to P4 this year for sure. Where I don’t know, but he is due (Arkansas?)

My oldest and I joke that Cam Rising will be 30 before he is not listed as questionable.

I think Sumrall is a Kentucky alum. Look for him to head there if Stoops leaves. Unfortunately there are no sure fire home run hires like SOS or Urban. I also don't think Stricklin should not make this hire. It is clear he is not the man to make big boy hire. And I don't mean just football.

I might add, he is a nice guy. Met him in Bowling Green Kentucky as I lived there shortly before I moved to the Nashville area, about 1 hour away.

Keep in mind, Spurrier and Meyer were anything but surefire hirings.

Spurrier coming from Duke was questioned if his offense could work in the "3 yards and a cloud of dust" league that was the SEC at the time.

Ditto for Meyer coming from Utah with his "gimmicky" spread offense and questions if it could work against stout SEC defenses...

Some guys are hypochondriacs and flip out over everything like my business partner. Well today he cut the shit out of himself and I was proud of him for screaming.

Shadow others may have doubted SOS and Urban but not me. Those two along with Billy Donavan got me the most excited about football and hoops. BTW living in Georgia I did here the UGA fans say SOS and Urban would not work. I just smiled and said wait. Guess who was right.

How about agressive offenses that are productive everywhere he has been, not let go but hired with big raises. Fyi

Well I'm laughing at your continued ragging on kiffin. You're trying way too hard. Not sure what he has to do with Lagway's injury anyway, but...

I doubt Kiffin will be the next HC at UF for several reasons, but in 5 years he is yet to have a losing season at Ole Miss and he inherited a shit show. In his 10+ year career of college coaching I believe he has had exactly 1 losing season as compared to your guy who is working on three straight losing seasons. It's pretty obvious who the better coach is, but carry on. :)

It's been a pretty much worse case scenario. I think LB and TE may be the only intact units.

It depends on how he feels. I've played sports a lot more physically demanding than what a football QB does in a game while nursing an injury and been fine. QBs have played hurt for decades and it was no big deal. If he can't move and is in serious danger of getting re-injured, sure he could sit out, but if he's just a little sore and feels good I don't see what the big deal is except optics and pearl clutching. Athletes play dinged up every week.

The truth is Lagway has a very real chance at a multi multimillion dollar career in football. If there is any chance at all of him doing any permanent damage to this leg, he and his advisor will not want him to play- in my opinion.

And even at TE at TEand LB, Livingston was out some this year, and Chiles was out at LB but he was not a regular contributor leading up to his injury.

True, but hamstrings are injuries that when aggravated with tears have led to long breaks in players' careers, especially when creating imbalances that injured backs and hips. With a qb you have to know how it affects his plant foot even if you don't use him to run.

Leg drive into hip rotation are considered pretty important aspects of throwing. Don't know how compromised he is/will be in that area.
