You make a good point and case.

But it's seemed to me that there is apparently no way to get some ideas into people's heads, to counter false narratives. That people are all too willing to lazily believe outright lies.

    Is reality somewhere in between?

exactly, I was hollering that at the start of this, but they were in a difficult spot. That’s against the norm to primary a sitting potus. And Biden wasn’t going anywhere.

He is going to win PA. We basically only have Pittsburgh and Philly votes so far.

He may not win VA, but it's gonna be damn close and he's not going to win less than 300 EV tonight.

I’ve been confident in a Harris win for a long time now but if I’m wrong, it is what it is. Life will go on. I’ll just say that those who wanted Trump and voted for him, I hope you get what you want from him because some of his economic policies are not good.

I don't agree with this. Harris is a strong candidate. If she loses, it might be indicative that Americans are (sigh) still not ready to elect a woman. I like Pete B more than any Dem out there, but he wouldn't stand a chance in hell because the U.S. will not elect a gay man.

I’m surprised that’s a major reason. Inflation is under control, the market is up, and we avoided a recession. But, to your point, that’s how voters are feeling and what they’re reporting. There’s been plenty of debate how Trump’s tariffs will impact inflation, but the current fact is a lot of people are still having a tough time and they are convinced Trump has a solution.

Trump has no plan and his tariffs idea will be horrible for middle class Americans. Sad they can’t see this.

If nothing else, VA is a very significant harbinger for PA, MI, WI...
