But he was on the 7 on 7 team with VB3. We need a QB this class and Fsu is a dumpster fire.

 

This kid knows that he immediately moves to #2 on the depth chart.

 

Hopefully Jones can bring over Solomon Thomas.

We really don't know how any of Manuel, Jones, Mascoll, or Westphal could handle the big games, so getting Thomas to increase the talent at least is a must. He with Kearney and Zandamela at least give us the promise of some talent upgrade, but a lot of others need to step up, because we are not likely to get more 5 star OL or plug and play from the portal. Barber and Slaughter have played above what I expected, so it can happen.

 

Manuel has plenty of SEC proven performance....wish he had been healthy this season

 

He was our 3rd best OT until his injury, and I don't know why he didn't get more play when we rotated the OL so much early on. However, I think Barber should be the floor for what we need at OT (physically, not his technique and knowledge, which looks superlative), but Manuel wasn't to that level yet, and we don't know how he will come back from injury.
