Tulane coach, Jon Sumrall, is headed to P4 this year for sure. Where I don’t know, but he is due (Arkansas?)

My oldest and I joke that Cam Rising will be 30 before he is not listed as questionable.

I think Sumrall is a Kentucky alum. Look for him to head there if Stoops leaves. Unfortunately there are no sure fire home run hires like SOS or Urban. I also don't think Stricklin should not make this hire. It is clear he is not the man to make big boy hire. And I don't mean just football.

I might add, he is a nice guy. Met him in Bowling Green Kentucky as I lived there shortly before I moved to the Nashville area, about 1 hour away.

    Uh oh…
“Nice Guy” seems to be the kiss of death term for all of the “fire BN” Gator fans:confused:

Keep in mind, Spurrier and Meyer were anything but surefire hirings.

Spurrier coming from Duke was questioned if his offense could work in the "3 yards and a cloud of dust" league that was the DEC at the time.

Ditto for Meyer coming from Utah with his "gimmicky" spread offense and questions if it could work against stout SEC defenses...

Some guys are hypochondriacs and flip out over everything like my business partner. Well today he cut the shit out of himself and I was proud of him for screaming.

Shadow others may have doubted SOS and Urban but not me. Those two along with Billy Donavan got me the most excited about football and hoops. BTW living in Georgia I did here the UGA fans say SOS and Urban would not work. I just smiled and said wait. Guess who was right.

How about agressive offenses that are productive everywhere he has been, not let go but hired with big raises. Fyi
