Women weren't allowed to own property through much of the 19th century and couldn't vote until 1920. No fault divorce wasn't a thing until the 1970's. In New York, for example, it was legal for a husband to rape his wife until the mid 1980's. The list goes on and on. Women had very little relative power and opportunities throughout much of our history.

Of course, today, young women are surpassing young men in academics and various fields, and men are experiencing a relative loss of power compared to women. The most significant advantage that men maintain today is size and physical strength, but those traits have become less important in most fields.

Your other post about women being soft and emotional is ironic to me given how many men are feeling a certain way about these changes. I could argue that they're feeling something closer to resentment than literal misogyny. However, is it fair to say there's a real difference between the two if men are angry about women having more control over their lives?

Why is it super easy to see who has a loving woman in their life and who is an INCEL on this thread?

With Trump, nothing comes true. Just disappointment.

    Just ask Bill Barr . . . .

Do you have a link to provide evidence of this? further, aren't there a lot of situations where emotion is good thing?

Driving by, I saw 3 older women with the life size Trump cut out standing outside the 150' polling place limits this morning ...

Eh, I think men and women are both emotional but in my experience women, especially the high achieving ones, are often better at controlling it because they’ve had to be.

I have my doubts on your contention, but I’ll just accept your premise to be true for this post. Certainly you understand that all men and all women are not the same, yes? That being the case, surely you’re not going to use the emotion argument here when Trump has been on a non-stop grievance tour for nine years.

Guys who say stuff like 'women are driven by emotions' tend to be driven by the emotions of anger and hate. And they're often the ones who lose their minds in football game threads too.

If Harris wins, you're the poster child for why.

No question that MAGA is the most emotionally-based political movement in my lifetime (57 years). Literally everything is some emotional screed based on "feels".

Yep, women had nothing to do with building America. Barefoot and pregnant and they should be damn thankful for that.

Trust me, no one has done that. You're pure MAGA.

Best take on the thread. Not saying it's true, but it definitely makes you think.

You could just listen to 5 minutes of sports talk radio and refute his entire premise
