Russian infighting erupts as 'Vladimir Putin's generals turn on each other' in vicious row

In a dramatic twist of Russian military justice, Major General Alexander Ogloblin has been arrested again after a series of testimonies from high-ranking officials. This marks the sixth arrest of a senior Russian military figure in 2021. The former deputy chief of Russia's General Staff, Vadim Shamarin, provided crucial information leading to Ogloblin's arrest.

The ex-head of Russia's military communications department is accused of taking bribes worth $10 million dollars from a telecom company for defense ministry contracts, as per the Investigative Committee and reported by Kommersant, reports Daily Express UK.

In February 2022, Ogloblin had been sentenced to four and a half years for embezzlement in February 2022 on separate charges. However, he managed an early release by testifying against his superior, Shamarin, who was implicated in procurement kickbacks from the Perm Telephone Plant Telta.

"Thanks to his testimony, Major General (Ogloblin), sentenced in February 2022 to 4.5 years in prison for embezzlement, was able to secure an early release," stated the report.

2 years and 8 months of some of the stupidest posts of all time. 1 million dead and the retarded still haven't figured out they're retarded.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that duggers_dad is making monkeys out of you because he has a clue? The level of stupidity on this thread is off the charts

A good article on how Ukraine fooled Russia and pulled off the invasion of Kursk, humiliating Putin and the Russian military. It says that Ukraine used some of the same tactics that the Germans used in pulling off the surprise during the Battle of the Bulge in WWII, which was nearly devastating for the Allies.

Ukraine fooled Russia with the same deceptions Germany used at WWII's Battle of the Bulge

This year's Russian household food item shortage is butter. Last year, it was eggs, with a 40% increase in price in November. The price of butter, after Putin claimed that Russia would keep the price down, is up 26% in less than a year. Russians probably do not want to go through another winter with a food shortage, and that might mean anger and hostility towards their dictator. Russian commentators are calling it an "Armageddon with Butter". Will there be inflation, or will there be a recession? Stay tuned for another episode of "As the Russia Turns"!

Putin said Russia wouldn't have to choose between guns or butter. The price of butter is soaring.

Russian supermarkets have taken to locking up the butter to prevent theft of the precious commodity. Lawlessness is beginning to take over Russian society, as gangs of "Butter-fingers" slink into food markets.

Russians are running out of butter - supermarkets are locking it away from shoplifters

If Z is happy with a plan Trump is on board with then who am I to disagree? Get it done.

Trump needs to figure out how to stop Russian terrorist attacks against the U.S. and Canada.

This might be a good reason for Biden to authorize an F-35 attack on Russian military bases to express his disagreement with the terrorist activities. Trump would be certain to grovel his way into Putin's good graces after that.

Why haven’t Joe and Kam already handled this matter?

Maybe because the story just came out today? Shouldn't the ink dry on the article before you expect a response?

So Joe and Kam didn’t know about intel and act to address the threat, before the article was published?

And folks wonder why DT won the election?

So, the at issue incidents occurred in Jul24, approximately 120 days ago. If the Biden administration didn’t know about them …. had no intel, which is highly unlikely….. until this week, it still has some 90 days to address and resolve the matter. Leaving it to Trump represents 6 months of inaction on a likely terror threat. I guess this is how the progressive mind works …. or not.

By leaving it to Trump, this means what, you think Trump is going to write Putin a sternly worded letter? ‘Don’t do that again Vladimir or I’ll unleash hell fury!’ It’s more likely Trump would repeat the actual Kremlin line :”unintelligible hoaxes which are never supported by any credible information.”

It is definitely an outlier that this story wasn’t picked up originally. Normally politicians would be rushing to the cameras. If not politicians, some law enforcement official would want their 5 minutes. The fact there was none of that tells me… maybe it was intentionally kept quiet so that law enforcement and intelligence could investigate with less noise and these saboteurs thinking they had less heat on them? Did you ponder that? It does say 4 arrests in October and 2 more suspects.

This is the weirdness of where we are. You WANT the useless politicians preening for the cameras? The LACK of this is what bothers you? Trump will definitely “fix” that problem.

Dang .... you missed the entire point of my question and comment and I'm not at all surprised. I could give a flip as to who decided what as regards releasing info to the profoundly subjective, irresponsible, and unreliable press. My question to chem is ..... why wait for DT to "figure out" and I quote -

"Trump needs to figure out how to stop Russian terrorist attacks against the U.S. and Canada."

Why the heck wait as the particular incident he/she linked was an article about a reported terror matter in Jul24 ... four months ago.

Hopefully, the Biden administration has handled this matter or will in the next 80 days. It's hugely irresponsible to leave the matter unresolved until 1/21/25.

There is no “figuring out” enemies whose entire modus operandi is to undermine, degrade, and destroy you. They will constantly probe for weakness and the rest of the world has to adapt and defend themselves. That much is true for this entire axis of evil (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea).

Seems you are overly parsing chem’s words as there is nothing to figure out (perhaps in July was too early to “blame” Russia). Now the question is the response, as chem’s suggestion for “figuring it out” was to send in some F35’s in response . I doubt Biden will take that route considering how much has been held back vis-a-vis Ukraine, i think we can assume the Trojan horse isn’t going to escalate based on this. Hell for all we know it was designed to help him.

Dang ..... chem clearly stated Trump needed to figure this matter out. Why ..... I guess because he/she/it thinks Joe and Kam failed to do it or knows they are incapable of handling it.
