Boeing Co. has dismantled its global diversity, equity and inclusion department, making it the latest high-profile corporation to make changes to its DEI policy as its new top leader oversees a broader revamp of the company’s workforce. Lots of corp dei going away. It was embarrassing and mostly illegal. If he wins…Trump vows to go after more companies who go woke and try the DEI BS. Boeing Dismantles DEI Team as Pressure Builds on New CEO
DEI programs have been mostly a failure IMO. At least in the corporations I’ve been involved with, it has failed to move the needle in the senior leadership layer. It has also created a protected class of mediocre and sometimes plain toxic employees that can get away with behavior that would get others fired immediately. While I agree with the principle of equal opportunity, it’s been so poorly implemented and managed that I’m fine with most companies dropping it and rethinking their strategy.
LMFAO! Who in their right mind thought it was ever a good idea to put DEI people on manufacturing jobs building jetliners? Tell me the Senators and the House members (and their families) felt safe in those planes. And I don't even think about getting on one of their rockets... the same ones that stranded two astronauts on the (American) International Space Station.
I'd say the new Boeing CEO has far bigger issues than this to address. They haven't been profitable in several years, losing BILLIONS ever year and their stock price is down 40% so far this year. Good luck to him, he will need it.
It seemed important enough to a lot of people to go through the trouble to institute the DEI initiatives just a few short years ago… did not? Now that it’s a complete and utter failure it’s all of a sudden not that important? Hmmmm .
Good I’m glad you agree that the democrats spent a lot of time and money wasted. Another brilliant idea that sounds great but turns out to be a big stinker.
How are you feeling about it tonight? The pundits and pollsters are all saying it’s going to be close.
Let me just test for understanding here. When you say, "DEI people", I assume you're referring to minorities - diversity candidates, right? Then you suggest that those people working to build airplanes would make people feel unsafe. Feel free to clarify your statement... but it seems like you're suggesting non-whites aren't capable of being trained to work in a manufacturing job. Because..... Dayum!
I don’t think so. I think he means DEI people are those who support these dumb initiatives. You know the libbies.
Just a guess but I’d imagine he is saying that it would be scary to know the plane you are in was built by people hired simply for their DEI standing instead of their ability or knowledge.
