Great commentary and what a perspective you put into the post. Your line was so clear that none of us has to read the article to know what is going on. Very impressive. Also my post is entirely sarcastic since you dont seem to be able to pick up context well.
— You couldn’t gather what was going on, despite the picture of the church sign, with the headline - Alabama pastor defends church sign calling minority Trump supporters ‘ignorant?’
Personally I believe in equality, the non-black people who plan to vote for him are just as ignorant and stupid IMO
No idea who this is. A quick google shows this is a controversial Pastor. "His controversial signs date back to 2004, when he posted, 'AIDS is God’s curse on homosexuals.' In 2008, he warned of drug dealers selling crack cocaine on the same street as the church."
Very pleased to see OP develop, at the late date of November, 2024, a personal aversion to public "hatred." OP, now do your political leader calling immigrants "vermin" and his political opponents "the enemy within. " Or are you just being a hypocrite? And coating it in a comfortable layer of victimhood....
Remove their tax exempt status immediately. Same with any other religious institution that wants to play this game.
If they want to promote a political campaign of any kind, enforce the law that's on the books. Govt is too scared to do it though.
New Era should just stick to making overpriced ball caps and avoid religious establishments. AMIRITE?
So, the evangelical universe of churches should lose their exempt status because they endorse Trump from their pulpits?
Yes. That's the law as it's written. I don't care who or what they endorse. Church. Synagogue. Harris. Trump.
What he's doing is ilegal. Charities, Churches and Politics | Internal Revenue Service Currently, the law prohibits political campaign activity by charities and churches by defining a 501(c)(3) organization as one "which does not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."
