I never suggested he changed his political views. The point was Hollywood is a guild that excludes people who don’t share their politics. Harrison Ford sounds like the exact type of person they would be willing to include in the guild.

MAGA isn't tone-deaf, they're just embittered that nearly every artist and creative person holds their sacred movement in contempt. They would love to have any and all artists and stars support them, regardless of obscurity. Why else did they have an adult actress speak at their convention? Why do they have to clean their shorts every time they see Kid Rock disparage Bud Light, even though he's holding an open can behind his back? Why else has Presidential candidate Camacho Trump all but promised cabinet positions to Hulk Hogan, Randy Quaid, Ted Nugent and Chachi ? Ok, I made up that last part, but the fact remains: MAGA is a bitter, reviled movement. Nobody cerebral or creative likes them.

Hollywood excludes nobody that rains money. Ronald Reagan and Arnold Shwarzenegger come to mind quickly as Republican governors of California. There are many influential Hollywood stars who are Republican. Most just don’t like Trump. I can’t imagine why…
