It’s alarming that the coaches didn’t trust our second string QB to throw the ball enough to keep UGA from selling out on the run.
I think the misses in recruiting is the issue. Millen was supposed to be that depth piece, but I guess the evaluations were off there so again that’s on the coaches.
Im thinking Millen may be either injured or never recovered. I dont ever expect much from the third qb. Now with this portal crap, there wont be that kind of depth on many teams.
There is never a sure thing but you must inject new hope into the program with a good hire. The recruiting issue shows that recruits have lost faith and that’s the killer. I was never a proponent of firing Billy before now but I think it’s inevitable.
Oh, that's right this genius does. Shut the fan forum down, there is no reason for fans to voice opinions. He knows what is going to happen. Please tell us plebs what is going to happen so we can keep the receipt for Nostradamus.
You never know if a coach will work out. There is no slam dunk. Its just probabilities. If you think the next 5 years is better by keeping Billy for 2025 then so be it. Just know status quo bias is real. Wasting another year and then hitting restart is a big deal too. We did that with Muschamp and it’s happened with many others (Frost)
Do you really believe it’s a monetary problem? $26 million is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of college football. Do you know how much we lose each year not being bowl eligible?
The point of no return has passed regardless of your opinion of Napier. He has to go or the program will be built on quicksand. A program built in quicksand gets recruiting classes ranked in the 50's. 1 class like that you can probably paper over with transfers, but any more and UF will truly become a bottom tier SEC team. Napier can't win with a 12th ranked talent profile, what rational thought would lead anyone to believe he could win with talent in the 30's?
I normally agree with you my man, but he was so off. That first "deep pass" he threw was atrocious it looked like it traveled 20 yards for 10 mins in the air. Unfortunately, I do not think they had a choice to go with that game plan after DJ went down. On the flip side is he is the 3rd string WO backup, who should only see the field in a 70-7 blow out win, and now he is all we have left. This is the equivalent of last year's FSU game for the rest of the season.
I think NIL is the closer but we’re not even making the top 5 lists right now. That’s a bigger issue than NIL.
