Obviously, DJ experienced a major hamstring injury that cost us the Georgia game. However, we saw him on the sidelines in the 2nd half with a cast and on crutches but suffering no pain. Does anyone have an idea about his likely condition and if he is out for the season?
Full recovery for him! Would love to see him return later this season, but we may to wait until the '25 season to see him in action again.
I don't know about his injury but hamstring pulls I have had before didn't hurt unless I tried to run o n them. Just standing around there was no pain issue. Now his did look a lot worse than any I had years ago. He has better trainers and doctors by far than I ever had so I hope he can be back in a few weeks.
They also hurt when you plant your feet to throw, which makes it a major issue for him. Didn't AR have a hamstring injury that limited his limited abilities?
Not good at all boys. I have zero expectations that he returns this year. I'm just holding out hope that we get one more win against SOW.
I see you got an off topic emoji from Bowiegator. Don't know how it can remotely be off topic since you started the thread.
I hate to say it but if he pulled his hamstring then he walks off on his own. I have pulled mine several times but I have only seen a hamstring injury like his once in my life. We were playing platform tennis (it is basically like tennis inside a cage) and my buddy ruptured his hamstring which required surgery because it came off of his bone. I have a bad feeling that is what happened to DJ.
I think Napier needs to pull Jadan Baugh from running back rotation this week and make him our quarterback with Jackson and whomever else is healthy behind him. Still run our primary offense with Warner, but a bunch of wildcat plays with Baugh and maybe have him do a throw or two. He played QB in high school, no?
Everyone remember . . . no rumors please and no Twitter/X posts from someone whose cousin works with a guy that talked to DJ's mother's friend . . . LOL!
