If in error I apologize but it seems you were indicting fans who support the gators but want a new coach. Happy to hear you explain?

    @wingtee

So I get a "dislike" for saying do not conflate supporting the Gators with wanting a new coach next year. I think you may have wanted a new coach with Muschamp, Mac, or Mullen? That means you did not support the gators that season? Come on man. Life is simply not binary and such thinking is both reductive and contrary to a fan board where opinions are shared. If you want to keep BN, great. I will not "dislike" your post though I will disagree with facts and will not call you a bad Gator for supporting a coach who I think is a poor leader for my Gators and does not get the best from our players or his staff.

Y'all are trying way too hard. Which of those third stringers beat UGA? At least one of the first stringers failed to do so. It's okay to admit that certain things are just bad luck, we don't have to attribute every negative thing to ever occur to BN.

If you gave Napier Tom Brady in his prime we would still be a 7-5 team. The issue isn’t the players

No...I wasn't saying that at all..talking about supporting the players ( wasn't even talking about Napier)..win or lose...You know " in all kinds of weather we all stick together "
I will continue to financial support my team and school and will go to games too..just because they lose games...doesn't mean I am not going or that I give up on them...been a season ticket holder and booster since 1985...same seats...followed the Gators from Ray Graves to Billy Napier...am I disappointed cause we are not doing well..yes...but I am not apathetic and you will see me sitting in the Swamp on November 16 cheering on the Gators...

Full disclosure - I've been digesting the game and many beers since it ended.
Every game is a landmine from here on, even the clown school.
Without DJ, we don't win another game except maybe, possibly, it's a toss up, against the clown school. BN should be gone. No offense to Warner, bad situation to be thrown into but he's a walkon if I heard correctly. It's on BN to have scholly backups at the most important position on the team
Our guys played their ass off tonight. And bar a few exceptions, a well coached game. Truly believe that's a walk off win if DJ and others don't go down, considering how we were playing at the time.
BN has shown time and again he can't seal the deal, both coaching and recruiting We sit 50th or so right now. Still boggles my meager brain that he said they didn't start practicing for scUM until one week before the game

For those that get upset about Napier hating, what do you consider a successful season? The second Florida is satisfied with 7-8 win seasons we have become Kentucky or South Carolina

That is great. I too watch every game. AND I know that NIL support is a necessity today, and that is wobbly, at best, under Napier. One can be horribly disappointed and want a new coaching staff while still cheering for the Gators. It is not mutually exclusive and makes me no less a "Gator." BN is NOT "the Gators" any more than Mullen, Mac or Muschamp (or any senior who gets supplanted in their job by a younger player).

However..I have seen people suggest boycotting games..my point was that..supporting by going to games...you can want a new coach..but support the players by being there to cheer them on right? My posts had nothing to do with wanting a different coach..some have disappointed me by not going to games ( and they are in state)
Btw..NIL is much better than you think ;)

This conflates "Napier hating" with thinking we should move on from Napier which is a perfectly fine position. There's a reasonable argument to be made that he should not be retained, and it doesn't require blaming him for not having Peyton Manning as a third string QB. It also does not require strawmen about being satisfied with 7-8 win seasons.

I think he’s a nice guy. I don’t think we will ever be above an 8 win team with him as coach

I’d rather cut my grass with a pair of kitchen-scissors than have to play 18.

not “trying way too hard”. The point is, who’s responsible for a Yale QB being on the roster in the first place? My point goes back to RECRUITING when it’s all said and done. And let’s go byke to you logic, today wasn’t “his fault” but who’s was it in the other 3 L’s?

Today it was DJ. And OBVIOUSLY he is the straw that stirs the drink. But these injury numbers are mind-blowing. Could spur the discussion of conditioning (not that I think conditioning protects from knee injuries). I think the focus should be on Nike. I want to know what our cleats look like vs Jags cleats. Enough on that.
I don’t think any team would be expected to succeed against this schedule with a 3rd stinger at QB. No matter who it is.

nah it’s not CBN, just give him time to recruit and turn the roster around to his liking & we’ll win big under him

He won’t be as sought after if he’s rehabbing.
