Lagway had a contact injury. UGA player came over the top and hand contact with his bent leg. ESPN has the video.
Obviously correct. It's reasonable to have opinions about whether Napier should stay or go, but this was a good performance where we just got unlucky and those trying to claim that it's Billy's fault because QB3 isn't Joe Montana have lost the plot.
He may not be the primary reason for this particular loss, but the buck does stop with him. The question we all need to ask is what is a realistic expectation for 2025. Do we believe he is capable of winning 10 games next year? By year four, I think this is reasonable to expect. We are looking at bringing in the lowest rated recruiting class in the SEC potentially.
He was reaching for his hamstring before the other player touched him. I think he tore it when his leg straighten out as it slipped. It’s a common way to injure it.
So was Shane. You see one of those guys on this roster? Didn't think so. Sorry, but I'm more than a bit surly at the moment. Now go to your room!
Lagway stays...Napier stays. That announcement needs to come quickly for recruiting and retention of current players. Go Gators!
I agree he did make contact with lagway but it’s hard to agree that caused the injury. It sure wasn’t much contact.
that part. Yea we can acknowledge that we played hard and didn’t quit but the lack of a real S&C been showing it’s behind since CBN has been here. Injury after injury
We lost our starting QB! That's not "healthy for the most part." Yep, DJ was a stud, but we were not planning for him to win the game in Knox. We were planning for our starting QB to win that game. This season is cursed.
Well he can dislike it all he wants but complaining that the post game thread is closed IN THE POST GAME THREAD is a bit … simple, as they say in the South.
Yes the team played their hearts out and should be applauded . I think some are looking at the entirety of the coaching for the past almost 3 years and are discussing where we go. I don’t think anyone is beating GA with a 3rd string qb with little to no experience.
