Napier is a bad playcaller and he's snake bit. That's a bad combination.

QB 1 and QB 2 out due to freak non contact injuries. Unbelievable string of bad luck.

Good game plan, well-prepared, just lousy luck to have Lagway go down like that. But stuff happens.

Our guys played hard, and I just wish we could have seen how the game would have played out without DJ's injury.

I'm getting really tired of losing star players to injury because Jacksonville can't manage to have a safe field for us to play on.

Yup, we kicked ass, the Defense really was outstanding. We lost some boys and a few mistakes and unfortunate injuries spelled the end of it. But, no quit, and I too am proud of the boys, big time.

No doubt with Lagway in there we'd come out victorious. Their QB was spooked all game. He finally recovered at the end.

It's great to-be a Florida Gator. DJ will win this next year. I don't care who they have.

We had a defense like the days of old. Very, very impressive. Yes it sucks. But I'm over it. Looking at the good, and there was plenty.

It really sucks how the cards never seem to fall for this program. Napier pretty much went all in during the buy week with Lagway. Now there's no more bye weeks to get Warner ready for Texas, LSU and Ole Miss. Next to impossible to win those games the way we ran the offense with Warner. Then, to see so many defensive players go down with leg injuries, maybe it's best we go to a home and home for a while. Our fields are 10 times better than that NFL crap in Jacksonville.

A buddy of mine said sometimes you have to make a change when you are snake bit. When it seems no matter what you do and how hard you fight, the bad luck hits and for us it's botched plays and injuries. Every year under Mullen and Napier, our QB suffered an injury. With Mullen, it was Franks, the Trask, then Franks again. With Napier, it was AR, then Mertz last year, Mertz and Lagway this year. Our wounded looks like a third of the team right now. Snake bit. And then I'm looking at the current 50th ranked 2025 recruiting class.

Muschamp was another guy who the players loved and played hard for and was snake bitten. He just wasn't a good head coach either when it came to actual results.

More so now, cause the trash talking will commence louder than ever.
They whipped us on another down year, us down a ton of starters, many during this game.
Our boys played their asses off, fell short, likely win without all the injuries.
My only consolation is that the Gators live rent rent free inside the minds of all leg humpers

They played their butts off..had DJ stayed in we would have won. Just not our luck this game, this season or this coach. I wish CBN well after this season.

Proud of the team effort and kudos for Napier for keeping this team playing hard. Horrible injuries at key positions have been devastating, but the one to Lagway was the killer tonight. I thought hiring Napier was a mistake and have been in favor of replacing him since mid way through last season. But I have to give the guy credit for keeping this team together and playing hard.

Napier played with this wounded team better then sark did with both his qb's healthy. Not mad at the outcome, we didn't get embarrassed, Kirby could have and should have run up the score, or at least attempted to. I think even he recognized the effort and fight he saw today.

Texas has 2 that could start almost anywhere... I wonder how good their 3rd string QB is?

It’s asinine to take an announcer who understandably despises a team and have him announce one of their games. The media literally is unable to do anything right.

Billy has dug himself a big hole to get out of and just when he reaches his hands to the top to pull himself out of the hole.....it starts to rain and he slips all the way back down to the bottom of the hole.

Ever consider that all of the fan and booster discontent might affect recruiting and depth? This is the team he has, he had them ready to play, but they don’t have the three deep to deal with injuries. Maybe the next guy will get support. He’d better because he’s not going to have a team to coach.
