"His supporters" not "his supporter's..."--that's some crafty gamesmanship y'all are trying to invoke--because if the apostrophe wasn't gratuitously invoked, there must be something to which the possessive applies--alas, there is none--instead, he begins an entirely new sentence--which further betrays his true target:

"His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable...."

How's "garbage", demonization? Of course it's not--that was a reference to Trumps overall "demonization of Latinos" for years--(as inferred by his border stance, and characterized by his adversaries).

(and the 'is' vs 'are', applies to garbage--"garbage...is floating"--not "garbage *are* floating'').

Sure Obama called us “bitter clingers,” sure Hillary Clinton called us a “basket of deplorables,” sure it sounded like Joe Biden just called us “garbage,” and sure calling us “garbage” would be entirely consistent with the rhetoric against not just Trump but his supporters for the last decade.
