I would add that under Trump possibly for the first time in recent history meaning the last 100+ years the deficit increased while unemployment was declining and we weren't fighting a major war. Trump and his Republican Congress are set to explode the deficit again and if the Democrats regain control of Congress following the 2026 midterms they will blame the exploding deficit on the Democrat Congress.

 

Reagan destroyed California by giving amnesty to 3,000,000, who then popped out babies and brought in millions of relatives. They are now 15,000,000 (per Steve King in a speech he gave a few years ago).

The Democrats want to give amnesty to 40,000,000 who will eventually become 200,000,000.

We could have let in the best from around the world. No criminals, certainly no murderers, high IQ people, people with lots of money. Democrats and open borders cheap labor Republicans did the opposite.

Disaster looms down the road and all the Democrats will do is deny, deny, deny and blame others for problems they helped cause. Drastic action is needed now by someone who can execute, which is why years ago I thought Elon should streamline our gov't. Most specifically I had my eye on Healthcare, where huge savings are possible. Defense spending must be reigned in. Russia should be our ally, not our enemy. Putin, Trump and Musk can see the benefits of that because they can think for themselves and they're smart. Most of you had your anti-Russia opinions assigned to you by others

The good news is that Elon has been getting up to speed on Milton Friedman, something I had hoped would happen. Massive deregulation should happen. Huge spending cuts are needed.
