The stated goal of the petition is to register 1 million voters across swing states, only allowing registered voters in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina to sign and claim $100...

Similarly, the America PAC [founded by Elon for Trump] homepage is recruiting people who "are interested in working on increasing voter registration and voter turnout" for $30 an hour and "bonuses for performance."

 

A college loan forgiveness is not tantamount to "buying" votes? ... please.

 

That part is definitely stupid. I would have thought they’d be able to pull out the ballot somehow, esp with them knowing about it with plenty of time. I doubt any relevant election comes down to 1 vote, but that it’s being “counted” is disconcerting.

Sounds to me the kid was ignorant and maybe thought he was allowed or supposed to vote. I can see language barrier being an issue with an exchange student. If it was nefarious he wouldn’t have gone in asking for it back, maybe he figured it out or was given guidance after it was too late.

 

I assume his point is if you are paying a bunch of Wal-Mart level workers “per registration”, you are going to end up with a bunch of phony registrations. Some of those people just want money, and a few bumbs will cut corners instead of doing it legit.

How do we know it isn’t Musk’s group or another GOP group that caused these to be dropped on Lancaster? It could also be a liberal group. I see no indication either way. But in this case none will have bearing on the election.
