    Okay… Trump is not responsible for all of the odd shit his supporters say, including characterizing Harris as the Antichrist or some random guy saying “slaughtering” enemies.

    Even though they're in the tank for the DNC, journalists just can't help themselves when it's abundantly clear they're being lied to. They know that if they ever accept that, they no longer view their work as making a "difference", rather they are just a pawn. (even though they already are pawns, the cognitive dissonance is much more difficult to manage when the evidence is so clear)

    The old guy should stop making extemporaneous comments. That being said Biden's remarks will have very little impact in the real world. Hardcore Trump supporters, the voters most likely to offended by the comment, will turnout and vote for Trump no matter what although I suppose it could help his fundraising from small donors. They can only vote once and even if Old Joe's faux pas makes them even more determined to vote for Trump their votes aren't going to count any more than they would have before the perceived insult from Biden.

    I doubt she will ever directly attribute this to Joe Biden and even if she did, I don't think she's going to convince many people she feels differently than he does about Trump supporters after her running mate called them Nazis on Sunday. There is such a thing as plausible deniability, but I don't think she can even hit that standard on this.
