Randomly came across this in business news, wonder if this will cause any imminent change in the O’Dome naming rights? Florida medical device maker Exactech declares bankruptcy Billy Donovan court at the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connel Center was a mouthful anyway.
According to the article, they made defective medical devices that had to be recalled because too many patients were having to have their hip/joint replacements redone.
I didn’t like the name anyway. I would rather the Exactech was dropped and it was just simply called the O’ Dome or O'Connell Center again.

Not familiar with how naming rights payments are structured for Exactech, but usually they are in yearly installments for other arenas. If Exactech can’t pay they lose naming rights.
That's still how most people refer to it. The only people who call it "Exactech" are people who get paid to be present for the games. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
Or bring back Skeeters and name the O'Dome Skeeter's Big Biscuit Arena. I understand they are or have put money in to updating the O'Dome roof. Design it to liken a Big Biscuit. Too easy.
Exactly, look at it as a good excuse to name it the O'Dome again. I'm sure some random private equity group wouldn't mind that.
Everyone still calls it the O'Dome. Not sure it will really matter who gets the naming rights, the O'Dome will be the colloquial name until a new arena is built.
