Absolutely bizarre how clueless that is. Harris is literally attempting to foster a message of “America, for too long, we have been consumed with too much division,”. She is saying that almost the same time he made that statement.

The Harris Campaign is likely furious with Biden right now. They had their closing message set up with Harris' speech at The Ellipse and now Biden stepped all over it with those comments. I do not think it makes that much of a different in the race but it makes the last seven days harder in the Harris' campaign than it could have been.

 

Well, Biden shouldn't be saying stuff like that. Puts him in the class of Trump. Still, Trump says stuff like this about the left on a daily basis. Where's the outrage from you MAGAs when Trump calls people on the left 'vermin' or 'the enemy within' or any of a number of other offensive things?

 

Gives Harris chance to distance herself from him right before the election which is probably something she should have been doing more anyway.

I do not want to know how many times in the next 6 days that Trump and his surrogates will be bringing those comments up.

Biden could apologize. Not sure it would hurt or help Harris, but maybe keep it from inflaming even more division.
