I wish he wouldnt have said that since I believe the President should represent all Americans, but this is probably isn't moving the needle. Trump supporters are obviously voting for Trump by definition. If undecideds don't approve, their alternative is to....vote for Trump who disparages Democrats on a near daily basis.

It's also pretty rich for someone who defends everything Trump says to giddily start two threads on the topic and post this in at least two other threads that I saw. Which is it? Do you approve of a president saying this kind of thing about his opponent's supporters or not?

It is a big deal, and it's wrong, but from an election perspective Trump is still the other candidate and he's said more inappropriate things than it's possible to count or track. Let's not pretend that Republicans are running some morally or ethically superior candidate.
