My mom was born in Georgia. However, summer of ‘54 she came to state of Florida via UF and never looked back.
He died on the operating table during/after his second valve replacement, so I would say it was directly related.
I imagine everywhere. We have friends in SW GA with farmland and they can go shining on most any night and see a herd of 100 I believe it's legal to take 10 does and 2 bucks up there
Actually Publix has a pretty good pecan pie also. Just couldn't think of anything else I liked about Georgia. Never been to Savannah, Sea Island, etc. Not a fan of any of their sports teams, so.... it's a drive thru state for me, faster the better.
My mom has lived in GA for the past 20 years. I was just down there last week for a quick visit. Got in and out of ATL airport with no problems. Those are two nice things about GA.
In 1991, a very good job/career led me to the Atlanta, GA. area. A few years later I logged on to Gator Country/Swamp Gas with my NorthGaGator user name. I sometimes refer to myself as a Gator in exile or a gator on a recon mission. There are many things to brag about this part of Georgia. Two things that come to mind are: The nearby fantastic State and National Parks (offers great hiking) Williams Brothers BBQ (great BBQ) restaurants.
Damn, that sounds awesome. I see them crossing the road all the time where I am just north of Georgia, but, can sit out in the woods for days without seeing one.
That's just crazy. I read about that a while back, and the wildlife biologists were unable to explain it.
Thats the biggest reason i decided against a degree or being a navy pilot, i wanted to live where i want to live. Id have lived a different life for sure.
