Lol. Sure. He just happened to become worried about his wife's long-term health problems days before he was about to get exposed for corrupt spending.
Yeah, US higher education is one of the most successful industries in the world. There is a reason that there is a massive demand for US degrees around the world. And you are the one who is all mad about that, which is why you decided to go with the obvious bad faith angry response.
Sure. That is as believable as the "wanting to spend more time with my family" resignation. Good luck convincing even you of that.
Graduates from the university.... ......thinks it's real good..... ...moans about how "libbies have eroded education." Makes sense to me!
Hearing we are looking at an up and coming guy, just won the conference championship in fundraising, but is lacking top level experience to run a big program like UF.

With these distinguished and dedicated Committee members in place, we can now begin our presidential search with the focus needed to ensure we identify the best leader to take the University of Florida into the future. Sincerely, Mori Hosseini Chair, University of Florida Board of Trustees
Patel f'd it up the last time and he's the search chair again. He was my student once, very good student but not so good at choosing UF's president
I hear he's being called Sun Belt Bobby, just a coincidence. Reasonable buyout, but he wants to plan his own fundraising events, refusing to hire an event planner. Some say his planning might not be up to "public Ivy" standards.
Feel free to tell him I'm available. But if he asks for a resume I'm pulling a Spurrier and just pointing at my trophy case.
I know one of those guys. He was my son’s pitching coach and his wife taught him in school. Good people. Hope they recommend a knock-yer-socks off academic
