And if it does, nobody will care. But I think it will. Those old ladies are definitely voting and they want their weed. As for me, doesn't matter. If anything, I still get it for less tax and have shorter lines.

So, suck on that! I'm good either way!!!

Things were easier in my day. No need for scales, you had your own self-contained measuring device as your "lid" was measured in fingers, generally either 3 or 4. Percentages were not an issue, potency was more like a geography lesson...Colombian, Jamaican, Mexican, Gainesville Green, Acapulco Gold, Maui Wowie. Life got complicated.

I was thinking about those saying they don't like the smell. It appears to me that public use is not currently allowed under the medical framework. See link. If that's true, is there any reason to think that the legislature would not be able to - or would choose not to - regulate/ban public use under a recreational framework?

And it's everywhere in Fl as it is with just "medical MJ". Think what it will be with full out legal.

How is it enforced it now? Or is the law just on the books and not enforced?

Or not. It's really nice not having to take what your guy has that week and actually have a selection. One of those, one of these, maybe some of those. . . and one of those too!

Same way as cigarettes, cigars, etc. if smoke/smell is the issue. As a former smoker, I can attest that those places were getting harder and harder to find every day. Very happy I quit.

There are definitely places and cities where you can't smoke in public areas, outside or inside. For instance, my buddy can't allow smoking anywhere in his restaurant, including the outside seating area. City rules.

Ooh, so pithy . . . I might be insulted if it wasn't so stupid and goofy.

Living in COLO, I expected to smell weed a lot more after legalization, but other than live music, I don't. &, it is actually less in lift lines & on chair lifts.

I think it has been a wash mainly b/c of vape pens, edibles, drinkables, etc.

That’s a joke, currently in Florida you can’t go to a beach, mall or outdoor event without smelling it.
I couldn’t care less about that part but to say people aren’t smoking it right out in the open is just silly.

Hell I just came from the DMV and there guys in the parking lot burning.
Hope they weren’t there for their driving test.

I live in NW Florida and have certainly smelled it in public before. Perhaps I don't notice it as much as others because I am not bothered by the smell. I know lots of people use various kinds of vapes (nicotine, marijuana, delta, or whatever), and those are very subtle compared to walking through a wall of cigarette or cigar smoke.

I have no problem with weed. If you want to damage your brain under the age of 26, go for it.

Only problem is DWI/DUI. There needs to be testing like alcohol for traffic stops.

Definitely smell it at concerts, but that was already the case long before the “medical” bs anyway where it was 100% illegal with no loophole.

I’ve seen a couple of dispensaries. But can’t say I’ve noticed any uptick when out and about. Outside of concerts, where it seems like 100% you return to the hotel reeking of weed whether you smoke or not, can’t say I’ve noticed much change. Every once in awhile a car pulls up w with their windows rolled down, or someone walks by in a hotel and you smell it. But that was already the case, isn’t much different to me than someone passing by reeking of cigarettes. Depends a lot on environment and is 99% avoidable if it bothers you.
