The guy is known to be an equal opportunity roaster, and I get that comedy can go places the rest of us can not....

BUT.....anyone with a tweet on their record stating: "Anyone wanna go halfsies on a slave", should not have a platform at any political rally in this country.

It sounds like it was poorly received by many Republicans which is good, and should serve as a reminder to my fellow conservatives that handing the keys to this group of idiots for the past 3 elections has been an absolute crap show.

From a strategy perspective, Maybe they could roll out some comedians to tell cankle jokes and really win over the Midwestern swing states, or florida man jokes to lock down Florida.

 

It was poorly received by republicans up for reelection in places like Florida.

Notice that none of them have decried the watermelon joke or the idea of killing Trump non-supporters.

 

This rally was not about gaining votes, this was a worship service to motivate the faithful. The speakers were chosen by design.

The overreaction by the press should tell you all you need to know. The dude is a roast comedian. It was a bad idea to invite him to the event, but it is not like he is going to be working for the Trump administration. He’s a comedian. The press is doing their damndest to turn it into a scandal, because they know it’s their only hope. A roast comedian is not going to change the outcome of this election. That some of you seem to think it will betrays the deep level of desperation you are resigned to at this stage. I think Hinchcliffe’s routine didn’t belong, but it’s not like he’s a key policy advisor to Trump. He’s a roast comedian. Never seen the press so desperate to affect the outcome of an election.
