    Bottom of a pint glass
Rogan pressing Trump for proof the election was stolen and laughing at Trump when he said he lost 2020 was pretty good

The economy is already in horrible shape.

America needs to become more self-sufficient and not rely as much on China

Then quit buying stuff from Amazon, Temu, Shein, Wayfair and Walmart, just to name a very few (but the prices are cheap!) Also, many consumer electronics, "affordable" kitchen appliances, or any products with a significant iron composition.

The economy is doing great as far as i'm concerned. I've had a better return on my portfolio since January than I've ever had.

When people complain about the economy, I assume they're complaining about inflation? I'm not sure how that is exactly Biden's fault or how we were supposed to dump several trillion covid dollars into the economy and not have inflation. That happened under Trump by the way, not that I blame him for the decision. I'm not sure there was anything else that could be done.

We're a middle class household with professional and self-employment wages plus some small investments. We don't make tons of money but like to keep what comes in. We spend conservatively (lessons learned from the 2008 recession when we nearly lost everything) and live below our means. The last two years have been great financially in all aspects. We've weathered inflation by spending wisely. Things were definitely NOT better during DJT years -- we had a recession and ambiguous erratic fiscal policy. I realize experiences vary, but I credit the Biden administration and Fed Reserve for setting a steady policy leading to more prosperity.
When posters talk about a disastrous Biden economy, we rarely hear specifics as to what that consists of other than inflationary consumer prices.
Housing costs in Florida - prop taxes, insurance and energy - are a Florida problem, not a result of federal policy. Our legislature and governors have let us down.
I see people driving bigger than ever gas-fueled vehicles (why?), so yeah, I guess they're pissed about the price of gas and auto insurance prices.
The point is, take an honest look at what directly affects these various components and forget the unilateral finger-pointing.

Trump sounded like a blithering idiot without his MSM buddies editing and cleaning up his ramblings.

No one watching that could think he's suitable for anything more than a padded room.

I paid about a buck less for gas today than at the start of the Biden admin. You must pump gas at the country bumpkin gouger stations.

But but but (sputtering now), Americans wanted cheap stuff. First Walmart and then Amazon gave you what you said you wanted. The U.S. cannot produce most consumer products and charge a competitive price.
    Do you not understand this?

The dynamics by which the Chinese manage to do this are not policiable without moving all manufacturing back to the US and the EU. And that is impossible. We rung the bell by allowing the globalization of our manufacturing economy. There is no "punishing" China for it, and the idea that we could is naive

I'm not talking about the manufacturing moving back, but we can certainly bring some of that back. Small, middle, and large companies' products are being copied by the Chinese. They are using logos, copyrights, and trademarks of American companies. Temu is completely out of control. China can be hindered in numerous ways. Companies like Amazon can be fined for letting the Chinese knockoffs use their platform. They are liable, and they will protect you but make it very difficult for the small business owner. Facebook is littered with Chinese ads copying American products. They should be fined for not vetting. There are lots of ways to stop the Chinese from running roughshod over our American companies. The tariffs on steel worked very well. The media wants you to think tariffs and sanctions don't work... but they do.

Have you ever done any work in this area?Because I have, just FYI. Worked for a year on an EU case involving steel pipes that sort of encapsulates all of the weaknesses of the Western system and the way the Chinese take advantage of them, which I would happily type out if I was near a computer.

Tariffs make things more expensive in the short term, and often over the long term, for consumers. this is because prices go up to account for the tarriff, people get used to the prices being higher and then even if the tariffs work, the companies do not then benevolently lower the prices.

You already have the ability to sue. The selling of knockoffs. There's actually a case that carves out an exception to the much-maligned Section 230 that allows you to sue an ISP if they are enabling violation of patent or copyright. Not too many people do this, because even if you win, there's no recovery.

LOL… ballots are never signed… and none of what he is talking about mean “stolen election ”… accommodations were made for Covid and all the votes were legal votes by legal voters…

Just the total cluelessness of this statement says a million words. Yeah, bro, nobody's pro-China. But thanks for the old, dumb narrative. Par for the course.
