UF is broadcasting the soccer match today and it is also available on StatBroadcast. I was going to write to our "Communications Coordinator", or whatever her title, to ask why we don't use StatBroadcast for fall softball but I forgot to do it in time. Don't get me started on the rest of the nonsense...both print and broadcast.
I just sent a message to Lauren and voiced my opinion from the Florida softball page message, I’m not sure how much good it will do, but I felt like I had my say. I was cordial. I emphasized there’s a hard-core contingent that follows softball all year round and we would appreciate that when we play a rival like FSU in Fall Ball that they would at least give us live stats, if not radio or TV. Rick, I’m probably blowing in the wind. But I vented.
Since there is no other avenue, there is no justifiable reason why she doesn't write a comprehensive story after each fall game and attach a full box score. As I have said before, this program is not fan friendly and doesn't try to be.
Red gave up a rbi triple but then got three straight outs, two by strikeout. Jocey followed in bottom of 1 with a two-run bomb. We're up 2-1. No idea who got on ahead of Jocey.
I have never seen him so patient with a player both at the plate and on the field. He has to see something in practice that hasn't been evident in games.

Kara set them down in the fifth. Still up 7-1. Red apparently went four giving up only the first inning run. It sure looks like Kara is going to add much more than I originally thought when she transferred.
***today I’m not sure, against Jax it was Mia. She hit a double in her first at bat. Hustle double too, she was moving out of the box. I’ve been fairly confident her hitting will come around enough. She’s gotta clean up her fielding too though. There will be some girls nipping at her heals this year, or should be anyway.
Doesn't look like it. They are in the 6th and we got two more runs with no explanation how. We're up 9-3. Only question will be are we playing 7 innings or more.
