It’s still just THC. It’s like Whiskey compared to beer or wine. Point being, the effects of THC, even when consumed in great quantities, have been known for centuries. Humans have been consuming marijuana for 2,500 years.
Nope apples and oranges. With the exception of the rare acute alcohol OD, it takes years and years of abuse to cause cognitive changes in the brain. I worked in the ER for decades I’ve seen it. Kids can start to develop CIP within weeks of use of HPTHC. If you want to consider DUI etc in the cost sure, eventually THc DUI will catch up, I’ve already seen them here in Florida. It slows reaction and processing times as well.
You try and play with these guys toys and they will throw a tantrum. I appreciate you shedding some light on the subject. I respect your professional experience.
It isn’t but do some research and see what experts in the field say. I won’t try to convince ya anymore. Your mind is made up based on faulty observations.
DUIs, domestic abuse, violence. There's lots of short term effects of alcohol abuse that effect society as whole. You're comparing that to long term marijuana use that effects the individual consuming it. Maybe you're right. Apples and oranges.
Good friend of mine lost a bunch of weight and became generally healthier by simply replacing his two glasses of whisky every evening to ‘take the edge of’, with a couple of tokes from a vape.
The natural plant is about 3-5%. We’ve gotten really good at breeding out the CBD portion and increasing the THC. That doesn’t include the use of chemical extracts for vapes and Dab pens that get up to 80-90%. 2500 years ago they weren’t doing that.
certainly I don't think there was anything around as strong as what we have now. But hash has been around since at least the 1100s. It was not 3-5%
weed honey was around way back...peeps discovered it & then intentionally would raise bees by weed crops.
In the United States, on average, 2,200 people die from alcohol poisoning each year. This is equivalent to about six deaths per day.
Never really put two and two together until now. But I'm 2376 years old. Maybe you're on to something.
