That’s pretty ignorant considering liberals have done nothing to stop the bloodshed in the Middle East. Israel, Hamas and Iran continue to throw bombs at each other. Meanwhile Biden and Kamala don’t try to stop it at all. No peace negations. Nothing. There is no leadership with Biden or Kamala. Also this post is ignorant as you have no idea how powerful the Muslim communities are in Michigan and how they usually vote Democrat. This post is also very racist just like a typical liberal.
Weird decision. The Harris Campaign has been wishy washy, at best, on support for Israel and tries to dance a fine line between Jewish and Muslim support. The Trump Campaign, on the other hand, tends to be categorically pro-Israel with no pretense of support for the Muslim side of things.
I've had a feeling many Muslims were trending Trump in the last month or so with the shift we've seen in Michigan. This sort of verifies it, but the implication has been there for a minute. Most Muslims, Jews and Christians want peace, not war.
Not a weird decision at all. They're supporting Trump because they're supporting peace, not because they love the Iranian government. I would venture to say most Iranians living inside Iran don't love their government. I don't believe the people of Gaza really do either. The issue with Harris-Biden is that they are clearly pro-war, whereas Trump is pro-peace. As Trump has stated many times, if he was still president, Oct 7th never happens and thus there would be tens of thousands of Muslims still alive today if Trump had been president. They may not be crazy about Israel, but they realize in the aggregate they would have been way better off if Oct 7th had never occurred.
President Trump was just endorsed by Imam Belal Alzuhairi and other prominent leaders of Michigan's Muslim community — the most expansive, diverse coalition in political history. - @TrumpWarRoom
Side note: you know Kamala just cursed out every member of her staff (and their children) when she heard about this.
Sorta funny some are unable to distinguish between people living in the US, most of whom are citizens, that are of the Muslim faith …… and Islamists. I guess it’s the confusion experienced when folks are so concerned with identity politics.
Trump tells everyone what they want to hear. He has consistently said that the war would never have happened if he was president and that Israel should get the war over quickly. Jews on the right perceive that as support. And, Harris is losing Jews who typically support her because of her unwillingness to reject claims of genocide by the terror supporters.
I see very little relationship between what I stated and what you replied. My point is that Harris Campaign tries to court Muslim voters in a half-ass, try-to-please-both-sides kind of way. But the Trump Campaign only tries to court Jewish voters … yet here they are with this endorsement. How important this endorsement actually is, I have no idea. We will see.
I reject your moral equivalency between Israel, Hamas and Iran. Hamas is a terrorist organization and Iran foments terror wherever it can, particularly directed at Jews. The US-- Democrats or Trumpers-- have no ability to influence them. They can only influence Israel. And, there is no end for Israel. Hamas was never serious about negotiating a ceasefire and Iran needs to understand that its will have a new government if it continues on its current path.
You object to a politician telling voters what they want to hear? You are voting for the black middle classed woman with multiple accents right?
Here is what Trump told Netanyahu (which is different than what he said today): https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/10/25/trump-netanyahu-support-gaza-lebanon/ Trump told Benjamin Netanyahu in one call this month, “Do what you have to do,” according to six people familiar with the conversation who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive and confidential information. Trump has said publicly that the two have spoken at least twice in October, with one call as recently as Oct. 19. “He didn’t tell him what to do militarily, but he expressed that he was impressed by the pagers,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), who was on a call this month with Trump and Netanyahu, referring to the Israeli operation that killed Hezbollah leaders with explosive batteries inside pagers. “He expressed his awe for their military operations and what they have done.”
I see both his point and what you're trying to say, but I think you're missing that the Trump campaign tries to court ALL the vote, not just a certain demographic or religious identity. I don't think Trump is all about Israel and screw the Arabs. Otherwise deals don't get done with Saudi Arabia, etc. Trump wants to have them both. Dare I say, he's a uniter.
My objection is to people who believe anything he says. Foreign policy needs to be clear. The first Iraq war start because our foreign policy was not clear. I have many friends who are Orthodox Jews who believe Trump supports Israel to the point of letting Israel have a free, unchecked hand. They hate Biden. Merriam Adelson gave a Trump OAC $100 million Yet, we have a poster(s) here who hears Trump's message as a call for peace and blames Dems for war mongering-- which is really for the Dem support for Israel. Trump is all about himself. We know where Biden stands. With Trump, his supporters hear what they want to hear and their support is unshakable.
