Like I said... Dems have TDS. There is NO imagination, nor creativity, in Communism. Bless your little heart.
The problem is these claims by Kelly are not corroborated. Trump has been a famous businessman, TV personality and of course POTUS. To say the least, he has met quite a few people in his time. Yet nobody else speaks of an affinity for Hitler or his generals except for a disgruntled ex-employee who stands to profit immensely by selling a story, due to how close he was to Trump. But again, many people have been "close to Trump" over the many years and yet nobody else is inferring Trump is a Nazi, which is clearly what Kelly is doing. On Joe Rogan's podcast last night, Trump talked about how Robert E Lee won 13 straight battles and gave Lincoln fits. How skilled as a general he was. But any historian (if they're being honest), would tell you the same.. not that Lee was fighting for a good cause or doing anything in a benevolent way. But as a pure tactician, Lee was indeed revered in his time. Even by Lincoln. I've seen countless historical documentaries on WW2. It's quite common to hear the narraters marvel about the Wehrmacht, Germany's lightning war and blitzkreig. That doesn't mean the narraters are Nazis. They're simply stating an observation. It doesn't mean they're enamored with Hitler's generals. They are simply pointing out that in a lot of ways, Hitler's generals at the time innovated the art of war and they did. Unfortunately, they were motivated by nefarious, racist intent, among other things. My guess is Trump may have made a remark or two in this regard, much like he did about Lee last night. But that doesn't make Trump a Nazi. That just means he understands the enemy. What is he supposed to say? Hitler's generals sucked? Well, they didn't totally suck or they wouldn't have conquered almost all of mainland Europe in the span of 5 years. It's okay to recognize the threat an enemy poses. It doesn't mean you worship them.
Documentation from that time confirms Lincoln respected Lee's skill as a tactitian but that's not reverence. : regarded with reverence : regarded as worthy of great honor and respect. [Not!] sacred respectable reverend distinguished honored hallowed honorable reverenced esteemed considered reputable worthy admirable noble redoubtable estimable righteous moral good The above does not apply to Lee. He was my great grandmother's 2nd cousin and I am shamed we share a common ancestry.
I don't watch Fox News, but visited my Mom who watches Fox News the past couple of days. Obviously you watch lots of Fox News.
I had to pause after posting, but it appears this might be orlandogator / louisianagator / louisianagatorsmom / alltheotheralliasesIcan'tremember
Ok dude, you do realize Lincoln asked Lee to be his general when the war began, right? And if you literally Google "revered synonym," the first word that pops up is "respect" and you yourself stated that Lincoln respected Lee's abilities as a tactician. And I clearly stated I was speaking about Lee purely as a tactician. I would say Lincoln held Lee's abilities as a war tactician in pretty high regard. Had he not, he may have lost the war. I'm glad he took Lee seriously, myself.
Funny I could have named the posters who would disagree with this. The same bunch of lame brains that have been anti trump ever since the Russia Russia Russia days.
The very epitome of the word "irony" is you calling other posters "lame brains." Thanks for the chuckle.
And Trump's cult believes nefarious people are capable of controlling the weather with chemtrails and caused the recent catastrophic flooding in NC to gain control of land rich in valuable mineral deposits. That an underground tunnel running from the Denver AP to the state of Maine actually exists to traffic underage sex workers. Furries and litterboxes in every public school classroom. The tip of an iceberg of dangerous destructive ideas and plans.
That would be Dudette, mister. Respect must be taken in context. Lee's decision to command the Confederate forces against his nation to favor his state of Virginia was not a decision worthy of respect or any of the other synonymous adjectives.
Trump wasn't saying whether Hitler's generals were capable or incapable on the battlefield. He was saying that they were extremely loyal to Hitler. That's what Trump admired and wished he had. He wants to be surrounded by sycophants and yes-men. He wants to be treated like an infallible dictator or an emperor. (Trump's generals had to remind him that the generals' loyalty to Hitler did not prevent them from attempting to kill Hitler three times.) Trump does not want to be surrounded by people who present different points of view. In Trump's mind, the only point of view worth sharing is that of the dictator. Everyone else needs to adapt that view point as their own. Of course, that is an extremely bad way to run a country, much less the most powerful nation on earth. The comparisons with Hitler are valid ones because Hitler came to power through violence. Not exactly an insurrection like Trump attempted, but through violent actions and threats. In a successful democracy, people come to power through ideas that inspire the people, not through violence. Try not to be so simple-minded about where this comparison is coming from, okey-dokie?
You both are looks aren’t absolute. I thought she was a smoke show years ago haven’t seen her since desperate housewives and I didn’t watch that.
Trump making strong inroads with black male voters because both can relate to being called the “N” word. Keep up the name calling. Trump enjoys the extra votes.
