I can't imagine why we would want Venables unless we are looking for a DC.
He inherited a perennial top 10 team from Riley and is about to be 4-4, 1-4 in the sec and will be lucky to have a winning record this year. He is not getting fired but his seat is warming up. Don't see the attraction at all.

i agree I do think he is a good coach and his team is dealing with a lot of injuries. He wouldnt be my first choice but i think he would be better than Kiffin.
