Trump has said that he will deport 11+ million migrants. He hasn't been clear regarding the legal status of the migrants.

To do this, Trump will have to create a police state to round up millions of people, process them, and transport them to massive detention centers for eventual deportation, costing millions of taxpayers $$$$$.

What happens if the origin countries don't cooperate??? Will he send Hondurans to Venezuela? Or will they remain incarcerated indefinitely? Will they be given humane care. Will Trump care? Will Trump separate children from their parents out of cruelty, like he did before? What will be his solution to this problem?

I am curious how this would play out in Florida in particular given the practical/political considerations. My memory may be incorrect, but I thought Trump signed an executive order allowing Venezuelans to stay here for some period of time. I think there are also Cubans who've come here after the "wet foot/dry foot" policy was ended. I wonder how many of these folks are now undocumented and thus here illegally. Do they all get rounded up? Would Republicans like Marco try to circle the wagons and carve out protections for them since so many vote Republican?

No doubt, Trump will take political leanings into account.

If they lean right, they are good people who deserve a chance. Of they lean left, they are (using Hitler's and Trump's words) "animals who infest" and "poison the blood" of our country.

Not that he ever has a plan but I would love to see what the actual plan would be for this.

Massive civil rights violations trying to determine who is here illegally? We just going to stop and question people with brown skin? Got to make sure you have your papers on you at all times?

Billions and billions of dollars spent to wreck our own economy? Think we have a shortage of home construction now just wait till they get rid of all the labor. Think grocery prices are already high just wait till that labor markets gone too.

And yes as the OP states they're under no obligation to take them back....

I have no doubt they will attempt to scale up deportations significantly, but I am also skeptical anyone in Republican orbit (or even Democratic orbit) is capable of planning, organizing and executing what would be the biggest government program since maybe WWII. Like deporting 11 million would make Japanese internment and Operation Wetback look like minor undertakings.

With respect to the wet foot dry foot Cubans I think they are documented and thus not here illegally.

Obviously speculation, based on Trump's history he will probably detain them indefinitely in internment camps and that includes children and also keeping in mind that the overwhelming majority pf undocumented immigrants are guilty of no crime than being present in the US illegally.

One thing about Trump, regular Americans are learning about the Constitution and how our system of agencies and institutions are softly held together with some weak ass glue. Maybe someone can air drop some 4th Amendment pamphlets across the country.

Next thing you know Trump will be elected president and I'll have soldiers quartered in my house without my consent.

Odd to see someone - the usual suspect, of course - disagree with questions.

They are good questions which need to be asked if Trump should eke out a win. Would Congress get a say, or could he do it all by executive order? I suspect it's the latter considering Biden's EO's. I'm all for a tough immigration policy - stay home and fix your problems - just not a cruel one.

If Trump oversees it, it will be cruel. He'll make sure of it.

He has a concept of a plan. Can't believe I was first with that.....

Also; I like how OP did little more than question how a proposed policy would play out, and paraphrased Trump's own words in a non-derogatory manner.... and he got negged by some Trumpies. *

What, do MAGAts take discussing what Trump actually says as an insult? Because Trump's own proposals are so downright stupid?

*Blukenquest is taking a much-deserved break from that meme he posted and getting back to the drive-bys....

Interesting question on the repatriation. I doubt that trump has thought that far ahead.

I "almost" wish it would happen so that the supporters could watch the impact on the US economy. Epic collapse. But "almost" being the key word.
