Wow, that does not sound like Gator defense. That will lose games as easy as not hitting. I am sure CTW will crack down on mistakes.
BTW, thanks to OTK and 72sb for the play-by-play info. I hope you keep it up for Fall ball. It's a drink of water for an Arizona Gator.
I can’t take credit the open practice because I wasn’t there. Maybe next year. I was giving out the season ticket information that I found out and the ways I was able to sell my tickets last year. I sold my most tickets of games I couldn’t attend before the season started. The process was simple and I use Venmo for the money exchange. Our non-season ticket holder fans were more than happy to buy the tickets from me. The only tickets that I had issues with selling at first for the the midweek games, but I usually sold them a week beforehand or two weeks before hand so I sold them all. Point is I had to do a little marketing, but with this group of fans, it was easy.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend today’s scrimmage or the first 2 fall ball games. Hopefully we can get some details from those who can.
My wife and I are trying to get to a game this weekend. I’ve never been to a game at KSP. What is the parking situation? Also, can you recommend a hotel? Thanks.
Buford moves on to the Elite Eight sweeping Walton yesterday. Caroline threw her third straight perfect game. Four inning affair where she struck out 10 of the 12 outs.
There’s plenty of free parking across the street from KSP that’s shared with the baseball stadium. The Hilton UF Conference Center is conveniently located less than a mile from KSP. Try to catch the Sunday afternoon game against FSU if you can. Always intense.
Give me a break. I was just going to post this. She only posted this 17 minutes ago. Ranked #29 by Softball America. I have a feeling it should be considerably higher than that. She is a shortstop for Georgia Impact out of Woodstock, GA. And, yes, she was on the list. Only one left.
I had a list of 27 kids. There is one left, Kelsie Donaldson, a pitcher from Texas I don't think we get. I'm thinking either Texas or Washington for her. Anyway, and yes I am blowing my own horn. We have six kids that want to be Gators. All six were on my list. Remember that when I put up another list a year from now. Tim is already filling it up with 2027 and 2028 kids. This isn't rocket science. But it has worked every year.
Great time at KSP today for the Orange and Blue Scrimmage. Starting Lineups Blue Orange P Kara Hammock. P Red C AK C Jocey 1B Reagan 1B Ava 2B Mia 2B Hovermale 3B Brooke 3B Cahalan SS Holtorf. SS Gabi LF Cassidy. LF Korbe CF Townsen. CF Kendra RF Taylor. RF Keagan I missed the DHs in the starting lineup. At some point, Keagan and Reagan were DHs.The lineups changed during the game with some Orange and Blue mix-ups. Notables Kara-70.3 54 Reagan-Solo HR on the roof of the pitching lab Keagan-2R HR over CF fence. Red-sharp. Ava-HBP on the right hand. Came out, but later pitched with no discernible problems. Mia-one hit Korbe-was Korbe Jocey-was Jocey Kendra-was Kendra Holtorf-is the real deal at SS Liv-Umpired behind home plate with an old-style American League chest protector. She did well. I don't remember the final score, but one of them won around 7-3. A good time was had by all. GatorLegend joined @sandman70, another friend of ours, and me. Our friend is greatly involved in WBB, so we talked about that and FB. I'm so sorry we did not get all the details. I will try to do better Sunday. We will be at VB Friday.
You did a great job Roger! I had my doubts looking over your shoulder at your notes but you put together an excellent summary! Great catching up with you guys today.
Interesting he's letting Keagan play in the field and hit. She can hit but I highly doubt her consistency will be on par with the others. It wasn't in travel when she did get a fair number of at bats. Plus, he has enough problems finding a way to get everyone playing time. He doesn't need to add Keagan to the mix as a two-way player. He might toss her a pinch hit every now and then.
