I noticed that and I’ve noticed it with other players as well. It seems like the young men on our team lift up teammates who are struggling, such as McClain or Dez when they make a play. It is heartening and makes me proud to see teammates do that for one another. I think it tells you something about the culture we have right now.
Jesus, go change your panties. I said what I see. I didn’t say he was a terrible player. Just that if it comes down to him 1 on 1, he tries to strip the ball vs. tackle. Biggest one I remember is on the goal during Tennessee where he could have saved a TD but he didn’t. He went for the strip and the RB walked in. CB’s are not all world tacklers so I don’t have a problem with them going this route from time to time.
I dislocated my shoulder while preparing for a martial arts tourney. Some rotator cuff repair was needed to shore up the joint. I popped it back in immediately and thought nothing of it. A week later, I went to Home Depot to pick up a bag of mulch. It popped right back out. I was out 6 months after surgery until I could be normal again. His season is probably over if there is any ligament damage. Not to mention the thing was damn tender for months.
Marshall was playing great, and his replacement will be Dijon or Ja'keem if he is back healthy, not Cormani.
I had a similar injury a long time ago skiing where I fell forward with arm extended like he did and tore my rotator cuff. Pain was bad and I couldn’t lift my arm up in front or sideways for several weeks. If he has a similar injury I doubt he’ll suit up for our Gators again as he probably wouldn’t be ready until a bowl game which he would likely sit out anyway.
Completely agree. I’m really surprised to see so many people wanting to destroy what is finally building, wreck our recruiting , and roll the dice all over again.
I don’t want to start over and I really hope Billy succeeds but our current recruiting situation is a bit worrisome. We’ve got to start landing some guys and the only way he’s going to do that is get an unexpected win down the stretch for job security. He is in a very tenuous position whether fans complain or not. 3 consecutive losing seasons should not be acceptable for any coach at UF.
I've had both... a dislocated shoulder and rotator cuff problems (in different shoulders). Once the shoulder is back in place there really isn't pain, soreness yes, but not really pain. The issue is a lack of stability and a propensity for a repeat. The rotator cuff, on the other hand is a lot of pain, stiffness, soreness, all rolled into one. From watching them seemingly struggle to get his shoulder back in, I tend to think it was dislocated. For me I needed to actually relax the muscles so that it could go back in. Right after, the muscles were spasming a little. Since I never got mine surgically fixed, it would occasionally dislocate if I sneezed with my arm in the wrong position, however after dislocating it many times I was very adept at getting in back in easily.
We’re landing guys. Look at the guys who stepped up last weekend. Billly is killing it in recruiting — what we need is to hang onto these guys. The players are behind Billy. If people would stop obsessing over firing Billy and support the clear obvious turnaround, we would all be better off. Everybody keeps worrying about whether or not we can hang onto Lagway if Billy is fired. Keeping Billy isn’t the threat to recruiting — it’s firing Billy that’ll upset the apple cart. And if Billy screws this up and loses the next 4 games, then we let him go and recruiting is no better or no worse off. But until that happens, our best scenario, especially regarding recruiting, is for Billy to be allowed to continue turning this around.
Who wants to commit to a coach that everybody is talking about firing? My point is, if he sucks the next 4 games then he’s done and recruiting takes the obvious hit. But wouldn’t it be better if he turns this around and has job security? FWIW, we never have a top class this early in the recruiting cycle. If he can win 2 of the next 4 games and the administration makes a statement of support for him, the recruiting will go fine. Look at the recruiting he’s done in the face of 2 losing seasons
