So now we are scoreboarding? Assuming Trump doesn’t or isn’t able to do something catastrophically stupid (which is a big if) personally we will probably do better - my wife’s employer will likely do better because Biden admin is holding up Albertsons/Kroger merger which is killing their business. There are other estate tax considerations that would likely be more favorable under Trump. So I have resigned myself to Trump winning, and will enjoy the fruits of Americans stupidity and hope he doesn’t F stuff up too badly.

In the weeks after Trump was inaugurated for his second term, experts hoped there might be a window to preserve CISA's functions and independence. Republicans toned down attacks on the agency, particularly after CISA was instrumental in revealing a widespread Chinese espionage campaign targeting U.S. telecoms that directly impacted Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
