A few weeks ago on here I suggested we stop all the disguising the front stuff… run whatever these dudes ran in highschool and let them play fast. And I got a few bacons over it. But apparently, that’s what they’ve done. Cordozzo just said they have dumbed it down after the bye week.
All that cute stuff works if you have 11guys who really know what they’re doing or 11 Pyburns but otherwise it just leads to a lot of confusion. I really love the energy level and communication looks better

But most of all, I wanted to start a thread to tell you bacon givers I told you so.

Lol. Classic. Maybe? Mainly I just wanted to see if anyone had looked at film and could see differences in any nuanced way… but maybe there was some bacon-love in there?

Seeing #44 Pyburn out there reminds me so much of James Bates. I love the energy he brings.

I’m pissed that Bacon, one of the greatest foods on the planet, is associated with people disliking a post. Make it a Brussel sprout which no one likes.

Who gave you bacon for that? Any idiot could see our players were overthinking. Guys been playing football all their lives. They don’t forget how to play it in 6 months.

Would greatly enjoy Napier doing the same thing on O. With a prodigy like Lagway, just let DJ go backyard sandlot, loosey/goosey TD, TD, TD. Too much tight ass stupid football!

Players seem to be on ball much quicker for sure.

Also seem to be giving less of a cushion at the LOS.

For some reason Marshall was really laying off before he got hurt. He was basically giving the 10 yard out. I’m not sure why. Usually he’s better than that. It was so great to see cormani break on that route.

The players had been looking tentative and unsure. First time I listened to AA talk and spouting rapid fire schemes and lineups, I figured there was a lot of “what coach say” going on. ;)
Glad to see the changes and especially with all the youth stepping up

Apparently it leads to better fundamentals too because we’re making some amazing open field tackles (especially against Kitties).

Have you never had oiled and crispy brussel sprouts at a nice restaraunt maybe with some bacon and light truffle oil drizzled on it. Yummy!
