First week as a starter….ties school record for most touchdowns in a game. Can’t wait to see what he does next game.
I would imagine that will depend on what happens between now and then. If Baugh is the back and runs for 100+ against another stout defense, I don’t see how he loses his spot.
Speaking of stellar freshmen in the conference, there's a really young WR at Alabama who would pair REALLY well with DJ Lagway for the next 2 years... Now I'm not saying to tamper, but, I am saying tamper away!
Good luck trying to get him to leave Alabama. Put it this way, Saban retiring had zero affect on his decision. Can't say that for any other player on any team. Bonds, ETN, hundreds of other players jump ship on their team but this kid stayed his course. Will have to see if things change at the end of the season especially if he earns SEC 1st team honors and the next QB up isn't known or not as good or Bama tanks even further.
Yep, he started to go into overdrive the moment I posted he falls down too easily. One of you sent that to him didn't you!! Congrats to the young man!! Great to see him do that, we really need a new back to take over with Johnson a senior and ETN turned turncoat. Bright future for our back field.
In this crazy world of college football now, never say never. Gumps just lost 2 in a row, something he never imagined when he signed.
Agree except Napier and Montrell have a history and both are loyal. Plays into Napier's personality and that he wants Montrell to get drafted in upper rounds, I would think. So there is that.
the kid has some fire in him and very shifty for his size. He and Lagway bring a very different look to our offense. Lagway's long ball and his legs and Baugh with his red zone prowess, it was actually fun to watch for the first time in a while
not 2 in a row, but 2 out of 3, still quite telling of the state of the program. Squeaked by USCe, can you imagine the uproar if it was 3 in a row???
