Another reason it is crucial to hire an established, offensive mind. We have to keep Lagway and VB3. I think most, if not all, of the core guys on offense stay and play for Kiffins offense. Same if he hires a good DC

Agreed. Even though im not super high on Kiffin, he would/should be enough to keep the high end contributors on the staff. We’re gonna lose players regardless of whoever is hired or if CBN somehow stays, since thats the nature of the game, but I don’t see us being totally GUTTED. There’s a few on both sides of the ball on the current roster i would hope like hell we do whatever to keep going into next season

Kiffin ain’t saving anything. Except for leading other coaches in trolling tweets and most quotes published at SEC media days. A change is needed, but it’s not him.

Im not saying he’s my best option, but he may be the best REALISTIC option we’ll go after

I think we've been operating on the best realistic option for about 15 years now. Not working out so great.

We can go after em all but who will say yes. What if our top 5 guys say no? Who is the sixth guy and what will his contract look like. Guys like Napier that have done well at lower levels aren’t making the move cheap either as they know it likely their one shot at the bigtime.

It will be a bad move. We better go after a guy who has won everywhere…curt cignetti or someone like that. We need a coach who wins across levels.

Grandpa has probably forgotten more football than you’ll ever know, but that’s just, like, my opinion, man!

If I am the floor of the coaching search we are screwed. I don’t see how this statement helps the case for Cigs
