Also really like the way Gates is flying up making plays.

 

It's the easiest way to teach the 20 personnel, with one running back and full back instead of two running backs?

I noticed UGA run a play with a full back too.

 

Gates was all over the place making plays... He's playing like a 5* star... Lol.

 

The defense started to improve the same time Pyburn started to get more snaps

 

Not sure, but there was one run play that had the full back and the pulling guard leading the way. When it happened I swear I heard the old NFL theme song Classic Battle.

 

I have really changed my impression of him as he keeps producing. He is a great run stopper.

 

Agreed, but it happens to be the same time that Gates, Denson, Dijon, Robinson, Moore, and especially Bridges got more snaps and some very poor players got their snaps minimized significantly. He isn't a one man wrecking crew but he helps our D, including its identity of aggression. Imo there are some other tweaks needed as well, but the personnel decisions are finally headed in the right direction.
