Maybe because it's not relevant to the types of jobs for which he may apply. In high school and college I had jobs bagging groceries, delivering newspapers, mowing lawns, bussing tables, washing dishes, working retail and shelving library books. I didn't include any of those on my resume. I guess that it would have made me out of touch with ordinary Americans. Most employers are only interested in relevant job experience.

I know this may come as a shock to you but 40 years ago most people didn't take photos of themselves working at summer or part-time jobs at Mickey D's nor did they preserve documentation of jobs of that nature. Speaking only for myself I do not have any photos or paycheck stubs of the part-time or summer jobs I had 50 years ago.
