I'm a Panama City guy (actually, Lynn Haven) from that time. I knew Patrick Miller a bit. My older brother knew Alonzo. Haven't heard "WJHG" in YEARS.

 

I think about how many times we struggle with a running QB. Even with a kinda-running QB. It's just a lot for the defense to deal with. 3rd and 6, you do everything right, and the dude gets 7.

But our dude can drop a dime 60 yards in the air too.

 

I’m sure Alabama fans are kicking themselves over their loss to Vanderbilt and now FSU fans are upset over their loss to Duke.

Every week, half of college teams lose and some of their fans want to fire the coach.

 

Bruh... the 1st time I ever turned a game off after the 1st qtr. The sequence of special teams penalty (2 players wearing same number), then watching the defense get gashed immediately afterwards was enough for me

 

I agree. One thing Stoops has done well is minimize big plays in this series recently, especially when playing in Gainesville. He'll probably save packages for red zone and 3rd down. That would be my gameplan

We actually moved up into the Top 25 (#24) in Josh Pate’s Power Rankings after the loss last week. It’s been a good indicator of how good a team really is.

 

Seems like it's taking forever to get to our game!

 

I’m here in my seat and having a hard time believing it’s another hour ‘til kickoff. Did get to bump into several ‘84 Gators before the Gator Walk, so that was cool.

These Gator loses are not that bad. This team has talent. Just finishing this Bama vs Tenn game, that is a game we should have won.

The SEC is a lot more equal this year top to bottom. We will surprise one of those teams during the gauntlet.

I am going to say this Georgia vs Texas game is going to let us know if Texas is a notch ahead or not.

I agree, it is really difficult to gauge how good or bad this team really is. The 3 teams that beat us have a combined 2 losses and all are ranked. I think we may figure out something tonight.

 

TAMU just won and sits alone at 4-0 at the top of the SEC standing (for now).
