Something is wrong with Trump. He is even less coherent than normal at the few appearances he has not canceled. Trump's recent appearances:

    - Swayed for 37 minutes to music in PA
    - Canceled 60 Minutes Interview
    - Canceled CNBC Interview
    - Canceled 2nd Harris Debate
    - Fox Woman's townhall with supporters posing as undecideds
    - Telemundo townhall disaster
    - Backing out of CNN townhall
    - Canceled an NRA rally just now.

Opinion | Why are press, GOP ignoring Trump's cognitive decline? (bostonglobe.com)

We can see the decline in the former president’s ability to hold a train of thought, speak coherently, or demonstrate a command of the English language, to say nothing of policy. So why are Republicans and the press holding Trump to a different standard than Biden?

The problem with Trump is you'd never notice. He's always done stream of consciousness babble. The available material of Trump saying incoherent shit is practically limitless and extends well back to his original 2015-2016 campaign. Is he worse now? Most definitely. Hard to tell just how bad, the bar was set so low (past analysis, and this was 6 years ago while he was President, that Trump speaks at a 4th grade level). Donald Trump speaks at the level of an 8-year-old, analysis finds

It strikes me as quite odd that all of our righties became mental health experts when assessing Biden, yet seem totally unable to recognize any issues with Trump, despite how patently obvious those issues are. Perhaps that's some type of specialty.

But why didn’t you didn’t respond to Trump’s decline. And as for Biden, it seems to me the “left” did actually respond—he was kicked off the ticket.

It has been quite a while since I have listened to Trump. The illogic or dishonesty is so off-putting. I avoid him if possible. I did however briefly watch some of the Telemundo audience exchange. Wow, he really is a shell of his former self.

Trump is now the dog and pony show to get the ticket across the line and then he will fall off a high balcony or get polonium mixed into his Diet Cokes.

Vance as president is the endgame here for Musk, Thiel and Putin.

    Forbes:

Trump’s Wild Rants Raise Questions About His Mental Fitness

    Key Facts

In interviews and speeches that have grown progressively longer during his third White House campaign, Trump often leaps back and forth from one topic to the next, appears increasingly unhinged, and mixes up and mispronounces words.

He jumped from discussing the dollar to French President Emmanuel Macron during an interview with Bloomberg at the Chicago Economic Club on Wednesday, and he responded to a question from the outlet’s Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait about whether Google should be broken up by mentioning a partisan court battle over Virginia’s election protocols.

During a rally in Arizona on Sunday, he mispronounced “Arizonians” as “Azurasians,” drawing ridicule on social media, and he described fighters in Afghanistan as “a million Rambos” in response to a question from a reporter about Iran’s attack against Israel earlier this month in Wisconsin.

During the Oaks town hall, he responded to a question about grocery prices with a rant about migrants, who he likened to the fictional serial killer, Hannibal Lecter, a comparison he’s made frequently in recent months; he also told attendees to vote on “Jan. 5,” two months after Election Day.

    Newsweek:

Trump's Bizarre Town Hall Shows 'Steep Cognitive Decline': - Newsweek

In her article, titled "He's Decompensating Before Our Eyes," the clinical psychologist said Donald Trump's performance during the event exhibited signs of what she believes to be severe mental deterioration.

"This is serious, serious stuff and yet the media are, once again, falling down on the job," she said. "If nothing else matters—the criminality, the cruelty, the misogyny, the racism, the viciousness, the freaking fascism—[then] surely the steep cognitive decline of a man who is running to be the leader of the free world should matter."

    Two points …

Compared to the rest of the world were a gerontocracy.

Democrats sought to conceal dementia for four years. But Trump.

Both he and Biden looked bad in debates and polls reflected that right after. Biden is no longer in the race because of his mental health. And even a bigger concern is where will trump be in 3 years.

I think at least for the people bankrolling the campaign and working for him, the fact that he'd be checked out is a feature. He just needs to sign the orders and such. And if JD Vance takes over, even better, he's one of them.
